One of the victims was Liviu Librescu. He survived the Nazis. He survived Ceauşescu. But he couldn't survive Cho. It would appear he died a hero, keeping the murderer at bay until his students had escaped to safety. What Cho Seung-hui has done is too disgusting for words. What Librescu did makes him a hero and a martyr and long may his name be remembered.

To have been through, survived so much persecution is incredible. It is deeply saddening to me that this should be how such a man leaves this life... A hero indeed.
