Well I'm glad I wasn't the only person to find the verdict in the bike sex case way over the top. See here.
Is there some legal reason that the media aren't mentioning (as far as I can see!) that the Peter Tobin arrested with regards to the recent bodies discovered in Kent is the same Peter Tobin already found guilty of the murder of Angelika Kluk? That murder was all over the news when it occured and during the trial so it seems strange that no one is mentioning it.
**EDIT** Well actually I suppose that'd kind of prejudice any jury wouldn't it? Oh well... The BBC news reports just fudged out his face and said it couldn't be shown for legal reasons. Well I'm very sorry to say... as a confirmed murderer from his last trial his face is all over the internet. I think they really need to look again at these laws and update them for the internet age.. and also, dearest BBC, if you can't show his face for legal reasons why do you continue to show it here?
A minke whale has traveled over a 1000 km up the Amazon river. The locals were worried it might be a giant cobra! Jesus... a snake that big would be fairly worrying indeed!
Children in Need was on last night and for the third year in a row I wasn't manning the phones (praise the Lord!). Instead I sat home and forced Jim to watch it... and of course I was dead excited about the Doctor Who sketch! It was brilliant... the Fifth Doctor used to be my second favourite Doctor until David Tennant moved him down to third, and it was amazing to see them both together, and obviously having so much fun.
Now next year can we have Sylvester McCoy please? ;)
