This weekend Sitemeter unveiled a new platform
.
Thankfully they decide to revert back to the original as I, for one, couldn't stand the new look or layout and had stopped checking my stats there. It was only by accident whilst about to remove Sitemeter from my site that I discovered it had gone back to the original version.
I've been using Sitemeter for 7 years and it would of been a shame to stop.
It's good that there are a number of platforms available - as people obviously have different tastes and needs. I used Sitemeter briefly on one of my websites many years ago (maybe 8 or 9), but never liked it much, instead I went with Bravenet for quite a while and still use it as a secondary counter on some websites/blogs, but my primary counter is now StatCounter, since about 4 or 5 years, which I find both flexible and extremely useful.
ReplyDeleteHey Jay,
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for quite a while now and I thought you were a stickler for grammar and spelling, so imagine my horror to find you writing 'would of been a shame' when you should have written 'would have been a shame'. Anyhow, just thought I'd keep you on the straight and narrow. Hope you don't mind ;)
Stay cool,
Stig
