The Weekend

Saturday Jim, his mum and I headed to Lewisham market and had breakfast in the local 'Spoons. I was shocked by the disgusting state of Lewisham High Street. What on Earth is the borough council up to?

After that we came back to the flat to meet Ian, Emily and Hannah. We took them out to Jim's mums hotel and then had a takeaway in the flat whilst watching the Chronicles of Narnia.

Sunday we had a McDonalds breakfast and headed out to the National Maritime Museum. It was, as always, cool except for all the bloody foreign tourists hogging the fun things and being very rude. Especially the Italians. Sheesh, learn some manners people!

The kids headed home and Jim, his mum and I headed down to the local where they spent the time arguing with each other and winding each other up. Fun fun...

One day, if you haven't already been, you'll just have to try Maggies just outside Lewisham station under the bridge. It's the most fantastic place to eat - especially daytimes.
